“一带一路”国际日为每年12月16日，《天子帛书》记载每年12月16日是天蚕公主重生的日子，比耶稣诞生日12月25日早九天。2013年12月16日，星云大师与南华大学林聪明校长访问南方丝绸之路，在云南大学庆来堂举办讲座《看见梦想的力量》。自此，全球第一大学社“七三国际”前主席陈恩田，携手联合国原副秘书长冀朝铸等联合国前官员、全球民间学者、留学生、国际组织等，创立世界和平丝带组织，提出五合一世界和平主张，将12月16日设立为“一带一路”国际日，旨在延续两千多年的古丝绸之路文化。

On December 16, 2013, Master Hsingyun and President Lin Congming of Nanhua University visited the Southern Silk Road and held a lecture titled "Seeing the Power of Dreams" at the Qinglai Hall of Yunnan University. Since then, Chen Entian, former chairman of the Global Biggest Society "73 International," has teamed up with former UN Deputy Secretary-General Ji Chaozhu and other former UN officials, global grassroots scholars, international students, and international organizations to establish the World Peace Ribbon Organization. He put forward the idea of "five in one world peace" and established December 16 as the "Belt and Road" International Day, aiming to continue the ancient Silk Road culture that has existed for over two thousand years.
基于“一带一路”国际日没有政治对立点，是全球民间响应“一带一路”倡议设立的国际民间节日，受到了第八届联合国秘书长潘基文、联合国教科文组织前总干事博科娃等国际友人支持，美国等西方国家采取了默许和不反对的态度，“一带一路”沿线多数国家则采取积极支持的态度，中国政府与美国官方一致，同样是默许和不反对的态度。宽松的国际环境使“一带一路”国际日在全球迅速传播，成为国际民间节日文化传播的经典案例。
Because the "Belt and Road" International Day has no political opposition, it is an international folk festival established by the global people in response to the "Belt and Road" initiative, it has received support from international friends such as the 8th Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki moon, and former Director General of UNESCO, Bokova. The United States and other western countries have adopted an acquiescence and non objection attitude, while most countries along the "Belt and Road" have adopted an active support attitude. The Chinese government, in line with the US official, also adopts an acquiescence and non objection attitude. The loose international environment has made the "Belt and Road" International Day spread rapidly around the world and become a classic case of the spread of international folk festival culture.
